When this film first came out, there was a lot of buzz and a lot of hype. Though, I really didn't consider seeing it on the big screen - I just wasn't sure if it was my kind of movie. Recently, I stumbled upon this film based on the Battle of Nanjing and its aftermath (most commonly referred to as "The Rape of Nanking" or the Nanking Massacre during the Second Sino-Japanese War.
